Fornever

In the series, “Fornever” Frank searched for different visual translations of memories of his mother. Although it has been fourteen years since she passed away her spirit is still present in his life through memories, dreams, and thoughts. By bringing these experiences together in a letter and reliving these moments in his studio by painting them on canvas in a series of six large size paintings Frank created a way to express these different stories and emotions. In this body of work, her absence and presence are central and form a portrait of how he remembers her today.
