Haruspex

Within science fiction speculative biology is a genre that imagines hypothetical organisms based on the principles of the field of biology. The goal of project haruspex is to introduce more people to this topic and provide them with the means and principles to develop their own flora and fauna. With an emphasis on the evolutionary development of organisms an organism that could realistically exist can be imagined. By basing the design of the fictional organism on living examples the story around them can serve as vehicles for conveying information about real biological facts. The current form of project haruspex consist of a set of worksheets and an introductory video.
